Sat., Aug. 11: Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village/Ford River Rouge Plant Tour. One of America’s greatest museums that happens to have a lot of cars, situated next to a living time machine that goes back to the turn of the (20th) century. Then we return to present day to experience a modern automotive assembly line at Rouge.
Sun., Aug. 12: Mustang Memories All Ford Show and Swap Meet, Ford World Headquarters, Dearborn. The largest one-day Mustang and Ford event in the Midwest.
Mon., Aug. 13: Pratt & Miller Engineering/Lingenfelter Collection/Roush Collection. A busy day that includes seeing where ALMS racers are built and entrance to two private — and powerful — car collections.
Tues., Aug. 14: Piquette Plant/Henry Ford Estate. See where Model Ts were built and where Henry and Clara Ford lived.
Wed., Aug. 15: Michigan International Speedway/Gilmore Car Museum. Visit the track during the run-up to the Pure Michigan 400 NASCAR race, then take in an outstanding museum with cars of all kinds.
Thurs., Aug. 16: Walter P. Chrysler Museum/Back to the Bricks, Flint. Historic Mopars at Chrysler’s headquarters, followed by a huge cruise night.
Fri., Aug. 17: Dynotech Engineering/Ford Woodward Exhibit. After a visit to the driveshaft maker we head to the Avenue and take in Ford’s corporate display.
Sat., Aug. 18: Woodward Dream Cruise. Power parking at the epicenter of the Dream Cruise.
Sun., Aug. 19: WoW is officially over, but the NASCAR race takes place at MIS, and the Great Lakes Classic AMC Club puts on an American Motors show in nearby Livonia.
